“Let all your efforts be directed to something, let it keep that end in view. It’s not activity that disturbs people, but false conceptions of things that drive them mad.”
-Seneca, On Tranquility Of Mind, 12.5
This world is filled with noise. Not just noise, but noise that is designed to engage you. It is so easy to become overwhelmed and “busy”.
Stay focused on your own actions. Make it a point to ask yourself if what you are doing is in the interest of your end vision or in the interest of instant gratification. If you are not actively making a conscious effort to create the time in which you can delve into tasks that will move you closer to your goals, you’ll never find the time.
Make your actions deliberate, intentional, and in line with your goals.
