Nature Is Brilliant

“Pass through this brief path of time in harmony with nature, and come to your final resting place gracefully, just as a ripened olive might drop, praising the earth that nourished it and grateful to the tree that gave it growth.”

-Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 4.48.2

Nature is incredibly brilliant because it has had billions of years to evolve, gaining mind blowing tactics and ways to survive along the way. Overtime species have found profound ways to protect themselves, but also add value to others in return for ultimately what they need. Nature wouldn’t work so well if it didn’t have a common goal of survival, and if all different species were not willing to compromise in return for what they need.

We humans have a lot to learn from nature.

Today, I am going to provide you with a quote aside from the usual. I have read it every morning since reading Think and Grow Rich and it has had a profound impact on my life.

“I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice. Therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealousy, selfishness, and cynicism, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude towards others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself.”

-Napoleon Hill

(I highly recommend reading Napoleon Hills Think and Grow Rich book)
