Do More Of What Works

“Don’t be bounced around, but submit every impulse to the claims of justice, and protect your clear conviction in every appearance.”
-Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 4.22

If you choose to be guided by a set of principles, beliefs, or philosophies, let it be so. Don’t go back and forth on your own word. But you should conduct experiments on yourself to see what you like and what you don’t like. And then adjust accordingly to accommodate yourself.

In other words, do more of what works and less of whatever doesn’t work. Or… do more of what will maximize your chance at growth and less that will stall and take away from your growth.

But even more importantly just get out there and start doing whatever it is most interests you.
